Warning — I do NOT recommend this shop (RFX Automotive / ClearFX Las Vegas). I brought two trucks only for a transmission and engine swap between them. We never signed any official contract or authorization. Despite that, they started “repairs” on their own, disassembled both vehicles, and even interfered with the electrical wiring — something we never discussed or agreed to. They charged me for replacing coolant and brake fluid, but later, when I took the truck to an official Chevrolet dealer, I received photos and a written report confirming that none of those fluids were actually replaced. The dealership also refused to perform further repairs due to poor and unsafe work done by this shop. They worked entirely at their own discretion, without my approval or signature, and later tried to charge me $150 per day for “storage.” They also used my personal and vehicle information without consent. I strongly do NOT recommend this place. Be careful — once your car is there, you may lose both control and trust. Your comment contains false information and contradicts documented evidence. 1. No legal authorization. I never signed a repair contract or work order. The “signature” you reference was not made by me and does not constitute legal authorization under Nevada law. 2. The shop doubled the repair price. After increasing the cost to nearly twice the original amount, I formally refused the new price and asked you to return both vehicles in their original condition. Despite my refusal, you continued to dismantle the trucks without approval and without any signed document authorizing repairs. 3. Unauthorized work. You performed wiring modifications, ECU tampering, and full disassembly far beyond the agreed engine/transmission swap. None of this was authorized. 4. False charges. A Chevrolet dealership confirmed that listed services (coolant change, brake fluid, etc.) were not performed, and that wiring had been tampered with. Your invoice includes work that never occurred. 5. One truck was returned in pieces. The engine, transmission, and wiring were thrown into the bed. Calling this “after a successful test drive” is impossible and misleading. 6. Written requests were ignored. I repeatedly asked—in writing—to return both trucks in assembled condition. You refused and continued unauthorized work instead. 7. Improper use of storage fees. You attempted to apply storage charges while refusing to release my vehicles unless I agreed to unauthorized costs. 8. Privacy violation. You disclosed my personal information to my bank without my consent, which is a serious breach. The facts are clear: • No authorization • Unauthorized disassembly • Price increase without consent • Continued work after refusal • False billing • Damaged vehicles • Privacy violation

I had a pleasant experience RFX Automotive, they were super clear on what they’d be doing and what kind of film they’d use for the tint and why its good. They also were very efficient with their time they had with the vehicle and were very simple to communicate with. I’m beyond happy with how it came out and said if any problems should appear with the film to take it back and they’ll make it right with you with their lifetime warranty. Customer satisfaction is #1 here!!

There should be more than five stars it should be 20! Eric was very helpful through my whole whole ordeal of having my car right now being able to leave it at the shop without my belongings in the car and not having to worry about them being taken. I highly recommend them. They did a great job kept me Updated with everything that was wrong. Eric has a really great guy to work with and his mechanics are great. I appreciate the shop in Las Vegas! I would recommend it to anyone.
